Young Persons’ Painting Competition

What’s it all about?

This is a competition to encourage and stimulate an appreciation of flowers, cultivated or wild, in the environment. For 2006 we are supporting the RHS Biodiversity Award, and are asking that pictures show how plants provide food sources and a range of habitats for wildlife, as well as creating beautiful environments beneficial to people. Inspirational work in this direction will be taken into consideration by the judges.

How to enter

We ask that entries, portrait or landscape, conform to A4, but will accept A3 if the standard is good. Good quality paper should be used, but try not to fold the painting. Art teachers, please pre-judge and send no more than 10 entries per school. Click here for a copy of the entry form.

In order to give good representation of winning entries, the judges reserve the right to choose the paintings for the exhibition.
